2 parsnips

2 medium potatoes

1 onion

2 cloves of garlic

1 chili

small chunk of root ginger

2 teaspoons mustard seeds
|
 |
1 teaspoon ground cumin
|
 |
1 teaspoon garam masala
|
 |
2 pints water
|

Heat some oil in a large saucepan and fry the mustard seeds until they being to pop.
Added the chopped onion, garlic, chili and ginger and fry for a couple of minutes until the onions soften.
Add the spices, vegetables and water.
Bring to the boil and simmer for approximately 45minutes until ready. |
